Rara Lake one of the Dippiest Lake is located far west of Nepal.Rara Lake is (2980m) flight to kathmandu Nepalgunj, Jumla trek to Rara Lake is very much off the beaten track' and affords glimpses of cultures and scenery very different from those in the rest of Nepal.Rara is a clear, high-alitude lake ranged with pine spruce and juniper forests and snowcapped Himalayans peaks. In the winters there is often snow on the ridges surroundings the Lake. Expect for the army personnel assigned to the park. Nobody lives at the Lake because the government resettled all the people of Rara and Chapra villages when area was declared a national park.
